Masson Trichrome Stain Kit

Three dyes are used, Weigerts iron haematoxylin for nuclei, ponceau fuchsin for muscle, cytoplasm and erythrocytes, methyl blue for collagen. The 3 dyes give selective demonstration of the above structures, hence the term ‘trichrome’ staining.
